MP Irakli Mezurnishvili elected Vice-President of PABSEC
MP Irakli Mezurnishvili, the head of the Georgian parliamentary delegation, has been elected Vice-President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC) for a two-year term. The election took place during the assembly’s 67th Plenary Session.
Mezurnishvili stated that the decision reflects international trust in Georgia and recognises the active work of its parliament.
“My election as Vice-President of PABSEC allows Georgia to play an even more active role in planning the assembly’s activities and shaping strategic decisions.
In my new capacity as Vice-President, I am fully committed to strengthening regional cooperation, safeguarding our national interests, and building support for our country within international parliamentary forums,” Mezurnishvili said.
