MP Gorduladze: OSCE PA bowed to powerful vested interests intent on erasing sovereign nations

“While we have grown accustomed to such resolutions from the European Parliament and the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, we now see the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly bow to the intense pressure of powerful vested interests. Their ultimate goal is to ensure that nations capable of defending their own sovereignty cease to exist,” the Chair of the Parliamentary Legal Issues Committee, MP Archil Gorduladze, has declared.

According to Gorduladze, this overarching agenda is precisely what drove the adoption of the latest OSCE resolution, penned by US Congressman Joe Wilson.

“This tiresome individual has become such a nuisance that even the head of his own delegation apparently refuses to let him catch his flight back home. Every single clause in this document is a fabrication and pure disinformation, flying directly in the face of the OSCE’s own founding principles. The OSCE is now passing resolutions that actively undermine its own institutional credibility,” Gorduladze stated.

The OSCE Parliamentary Assembly recently adopted the Hague Declaration, which features a dedicated resolution targeting Georgia.
