‘The meeting with Bidzina Ivanishvili was productive, we agreed on the principle issue,’ – MP Dimitri Khundadze said after the meeting at Georgian Dream office.

As Dimitri Khundadze added, the meeting focused on the issue of transition to a fully majoritarian voting system by 2020.

‘The meeting was held between Bidzina Ivanishvili, chairman of Georgian Dream-Democratic Georgia Party, and the MPs who are against the proportional voting system and demand to move to a fully majoritarian voting system by 2020. We talked about this issue to a great extent.

The meeting was productive, we agreed on a principle issue, but at this point, I cannot talk about the details, as this agreement needs to be discussed again in the majority format tomorrow,’ Dimitri Khundadze said.
