MP Beraia: Georgia acts in national interests, no apologies for not opening 2nd front
Georgian Parliament member Irakli Beraia Wednesday vowed Georgia to act as per national interests and national security priorities.
MP Beraia stressed that Georgia provides significant assistance to Ukraine, both humanitarian and political which “everyone knows.”
His remarks came after Ukrainian Presidential advisor Oleksiy Arestovych said that “Georgia has a historic chance to occupy Abkhazia and South Ossetia. There are no Russian troops left there as everyone has been withdrawn.”
“We spare no effort to make our steps and assistance effective and productive. International partners are aware of our moves in this regard. We are not going to apologize to anyone for not opening a second front. Everyone should understand and remember this well,” Beraia asserted.
