MOH detect some pharmaceutical companies' unscrupulous actions after reference pricing launch

Georgian Health Ministry on Wednesday reported “unscrupulous actions” from some pharmaceutical companies’ following the introduction of the reference price system for medicines.

Deeming it unacceptable, the MOH said some companies artificially increased the Türkiye-imported drug prices and even them up to the same-name drug prices, imported from different European countries.

The National Competition Agency is about to probe into the case, the Ministry said, adding it would take strong action against any violations.
