Gov’t covers antigen-based tests, Georgian Health Ministry says

Georgian Health Ministry echoed the rumours saying that some health facilities charge citizens for free antigen-based tests.

The Ministry stressed the government covers the cost of the COVID-19 antigen-based rapid diagnostic tests.

“Citizens charged for the tests should email a payment receipt at [email protected]. Regulation Agency for Medical and Pharmaceutical Activities will respond to the cases in line with the current legislation,” the Ministry said.
