Giorgi Kakhiani, the Chair of the Procedural Issues and Rules Committee says that in the near future the draft laws on structural changes within the government will be initiated to the Parliament.
He states that it is impossible to change the legislation and form a new government simultaneously, therefore the current composition of the government will be approved at this stage and the Cabinet of Ministers will be reshuffled only after when the amendments are adopted.
“There are 14 members of government currently. The same composition of the government will be approved at this stage. As it is known, ministers of finance, economy and foreign affairs will be replaced, therefore, the deputy ministers will be formally nominated for the posts of these ministers in a new Cabinet. After legislative changes a new reshuffled government will be re-presented before the Parliament”,- Giorgi Kakhiani said.
