Among those they visited were patients from the temporarily occupied region of Abkhazia who receive medical services at the Rukhi Hospital.

Mikheil Sarjveladze highlighted the strategic significance of the Rukhi Republican Hospital, emphasising that the facility provides high-quality medical care to both the regional population and those displaced from the occupied territories.

Tea Akhvlediani remarked that the ability of residents in the Abkhazia region to access the highest standard of medical services near the Enguri Bridge is a clear testament to the considerable efforts being undertaken within a unified government approach, focused on reconciliation, confidence-building, and peace initiatives.

It was noted that Rukhi Republican Hospital stands as one of the region’s leading high-tech medical centres, with ongoing efforts to enhance service quality, expand medical offerings, and retrain healthcare personnel.
