Mikheil Kavelashvili: As President, I strive to unite society through love
“We must embrace one another with God’s love, foster unity within our society, and overcome the artificially induced issues of polarization,” declared President Mikheil Kavelashvili at the Sameba (Holy Trinity) Cathedral.
In his Christmas address, Kavelashvili extended warm wishes to the people of Georgia, Georgian immigrants, residents of occupied regions, as well as the Abkhazians and Ossetians.
“The Patriarch’s Epistle is always significant, as it addresses our challenges and reflects our reality. It embodies love for humanity. Our society must agree that we should love each other with God’s love, strive for unity, and combat these artificially manufactured divisions with compassion.
This is the essence of the Patriarch’s Christmas message. As President, I will demonstrate this commitment through my actions and do my utmost to promote a society united in love,” he affirmed.
