Migration Department expels German citizen for violation of public order
Officers of the Migration and Patrol Police Departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), through a jointly conducted activity, expelled a German citizen, born in 1998, from Georgia.
According to the MIA, on January 7, the German citizen turned aggressive, verbally assaulted police officers, and grossly violated public order at the Tbilisi International Airport.
The Tbilisi City Court fined the German citizen GEL 4,000. Additionally, he was expelled from the country and banned from entry into Georgia for three years.
The Migration Department continues to ensure the consistent enforcement of the Law of Georgia on the Legal Status of Foreigners and Stateless Persons.
