Migration Department deports 34 foreign nationals

In coordination with the Migration Department and relevant units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia (MIA), 34 foreign nationals were deported from the country as part of recent comprehensive measures.

According to the MIA, the expelled individuals were citizens of India, Türkiye, Turkmenistan, China, Egypt, Iraq, Russia, Iran, Jordan, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Nigeria, and Morocco.

Under current legislation, the individuals have been banned from re-entering Georgia.

“The Migration Department is responsible for combating illegal migration, including identifying and expelling foreign citizens residing in the country without legal grounds,” the Ministry stated.
