As part of recent comprehensive measures, 18 foreign nationals were deported from Georgia in close coordination with the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and relevant authorities, reports the Ministry.
The individuals, originating from Iran, China, Russia, Nigeria, Egypt, Bangladesh, Belarus, Turkiye, India, Pakistan, and Uzbekistan, were removed from the country.
“In accordance with current legislation, those expelled are now barred from re-entering Georgia,” the Ministry stated.
The Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is responsible for tackling illegal migration, including identifying foreign nationals without legal grounds and executing their deportation.
