Migration Department deports 113 foreign nationals from Georgia
Officers from the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), in close coordination with relevant ministry units, have deported 113 foreign nationals from Georgia following operations conducted over recent days.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, comprehensive measures carried out by the Migration Department resulted in the deportation of 113 citizens, including from Turkiye, Turkmenistan, Russia, India, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Nigeria, China, Uzbekistan, Suda, Kenya, Jordan, Uganda, Lebanon, and other states.
In accordance with the current legislation, the deported individuals were banned from entering the country.
The fight against illegal migration is one of the top priorities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. According to the latest statistical data, 2,203 illegal migrants have already been expelled from Georgia this year, a figure that exceeds the total for 2025 by 70%.
