MIA refutes claims of protester injury: incident involved stray dog bite
The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) has clarified that reports suggesting a protester was injured during detention are false.
According to the MIA, a man sustained a serious injury after being bitten by a stray dog on Rustaveli Avenue, resulting in significant bleeding.
“The information circulating regarding any injuries to a protester during the detention is untrue and does not reflect the facts,” the statement read.
A man was bitten on the leg by a stray dog in the vicinity of Rustaveli Avenue, leading to heavy bleeding.
Emergency medical services quickly transported him to a hospital, where his condition is reported to be stable, the MIA announced.
