MIA opens investigation into damage to election banners at Kaladze’s campaign HQ
The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) has initiated an investigation into the vandalism of election banners at Kakha Kaladze’s campaign headquarters.
According to the MIA, the inquiry is being conducted under Article 187 of the Criminal Code, which pertains to the damage or destruction of property.
“The Ministry of Internal Affairs, following a complaint from representatives of the Georgian Dream–Democratic Georgia party, has launched an investigation into the vandalism of election banners under Article 187 of the Criminal Code, which addresses damage or destruction of an object.
Law enforcement officials are carrying out appropriate investigative measures regarding this incident,” the MIA stated.
