MIA officers apprehend Turkiye's citizen sought under Interpol Red Notice

Through a series of operational measures and investigative actions, officers from the Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime within the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have arrested T.E., a 1990-born citizen of the Republic of Turkiye, who was wanted under an Interpol Red Notice for multiple serious offences.

Turkiye’s authorities sought T.E. on charges including murder, attempted murder, robbery, illegal arms trafficking, and membership in an organized criminal group.

The investigation revealed that the suspect had crossed the Georgian border before his inclusion on the international wanted list.

Following extensive investigative efforts by law enforcement, the perpetrator’s whereabouts were determined, leading to his subsequent arrest.
