MIA: Indigo reporter arrested for disobeying police order

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has confirmed the detention of Saba Sordia, a journalist for the publication Indigo.

Sordia was detained under administrative law for disobeying a lawful order from a police officer (Article 173).

The information about the detention was shared on social media by Indigo’s executive director, Nata Dzvelishvili, who stated that Sordia has been transferred to the temporary detention center in Digomi.
