MIA – 36 people detained during the November 18 rally has released
By the decision of the Tbilisi City Court Judge Valerian Pilishvili, 36 people detained during the November 18 rally has released. The trials of these people, who were held in the administrative detention, will be held today.
The trial of Zurab Japaridze, leader of New Political Center “Girchi”, who was also detained and later released from the administrative detention, will be held tomorrow at 17:50.
During the demonstration in front of the Parliament building on November 18, the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained in total 37 persons under the Articles 173 (Non-compliance with a lawful order or demand of the law enforcement officer) and 166 (Minor Hooliganism).
4 participants of the demonstration and 2 law enforcement officers were injured today on Rustaveli Avenue. The injured persons underwent relevant medical examinations in hospitals.
