MFA: First meeting within visa regulation to be held on June 11 in Brussels
The first meeting within the framework of the visa regulation will be held on June 11 in Brussels, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) confirmed.
According to the Ministry, based on the EU Visa Regulation, during the period of the suspension mechanism, the European Commission must initiate a dialogue with the relevant third country.
“At the invitation of the Directorate-General for Migration and Home Affairs, the first meeting of a dialogue between Georgia and the European Commission will be held on June 11 in Brussels with the participation of representatives of Georgia’s relevant agencies, chaired by the MFA’s Director of the Directorate for International Legal, Consular and Diaspora Affairs,” the Ministry said.
