Metropolitan Shio hosts Foreign Minister

Metropolitan Shio (Mujiri), locum tenens of the patriarchal throne, hosted Georgian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maka Botchorishvili, at the Patriarchate of Georgia.

According to the Public Relations Service of the Georgian Orthodox Church (GOC), the conversation touched on the meeting with the Georgian diaspora, at which various events will be held in connection with the 1,700th anniversary of Christianity’s declaration as Georgia’s state religion.

Metropolitan Daniel (Datuashvili) of Chiatura and Sachkhere, and Head of the GOC Public Relations Service Andria Jaghmaidze, attended the meeting.
