Member of Georgian Dream – Mikheil Saakashvili and some forces ruled by him remain the main anti-western force in Georgia

The present leader of the opposition Mikheil Saakashvili (former president of Georgia) and some forces ruled by him remain the main anti-western force in Georgia – Tea Tsulukiani, a member of Georgian Dream Party said during the briefing.

Tsulukiani said that the official visit of U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was an important event for Georgia. Tsulukiani said that Saakashvili attacked Tiny Kox, Dutch MP, who headed election observer delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) at Georgian 2020 parliamentary elections, and called him a Russian agent.

“The question is what caused the attack on the international institution. Maybe, the circumstance that the conclusion of PACE about elections did not coincide with his false reality, as if Saakashvili won in the elections rather than Georgian Dream. The delegation said that the elections were held in peaceful environment. Saakashvili does not like that. He does not like peace. He had other plans which were ruined,” Tsulukiani said.

Tsulukiani said that cultivation of anti-western mood in an occupied country was merely malevolence.
