Mamuka Mdinaradze, Chairman of Georgian Dream Faction stated that there are different opinions among the members of majority regarding the overriding President’s veto.
Mamuka Mdinaradze made this statement before the majority session, where the legislative package of Law on Broadcasting will be discussed.
According to the majority MP, the arguments supporting the President’s veto lack solidity.
“There were quite solid arguments on one and the other side. Finally, after the last meeting, the arguments supporting the President’s veto were not solid enough. We will discuss this issue again and make the final decision today. In general, I think the arguments supporting the President’s veto are relatively weak. Accordingly my position is clear” – Mamuka Mdinaradze said.
“When they say that the advertising market has been reduced since 2012-2013, this is not true. Such kind arguments were heard in the Parliament last days and some people used this message box and not certain arguments”, – Chairman of Georgian Dream Faction said.
