GD Executive Secretary thanks President for confirming no remarks over Transparency Law

Mamuka Mdinaradze, Executive Secretary of the ruling Georgian Dream (GD) party, thanked President Salome Zourabichvili for “finally” confirming that there are “no remarks or arguments” against the Transparency Law.

“As for our constructive offer to involve foreign partners in the veto procedure, she responded with refusal and destruction!

The false project of the Natses (UNM supporters), rich NGOs and those giving orders to them against transparency and sovereignty – ‘No to Russian Law’ has failed,” Mdinaradze wrote on Facebook.

Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili vetoed the law On Transparency of Foreign Influence on Saturday.

The Georgian parliament adopted the law On Transparency of Foreign Influence with the third reading on May 14.
