Recently high-level meetings will help us to move US-Georgia relations to a new level, – Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia made this statement in his speech at the opening ceremony of the 12th Conference on Defense and Security of Georgia in Batumi.
“I would like to underline a very great success that we have in recent years with our strategic partner, the United States. I would like to respond to the visit of John Bolton, US National Security Advisor. I believe these visits and recent high-level meetings will help us to move our relations to a new level. Naturally, the main direction in these relations will be security and defense”, – Prime Minister said.
According to him, a few days ago, he received a letter from the US Secretary of Defense, in which general Jim Mattis thanks him for the reforms carried out in defense sphere.
