Mamuka Bakhtadze offers parliament introduction eco ombudsman’s position
Mamuka Bakhtadze, candidate for post of Prime Minister offered introduction of eco ombudsman’s position to the parliament during the meeting of the parliamentary majority.
According to Bakhtadze, the initiative will give the opportunity to protect and develop Georgia’s nature together with public sector. “Very important precondition will be created for development of green economy. Green economy will be the main trend of the 21st century,” Bakhtadze stated.
The governmental program “Freedom, Welfare, Rapid Development” was presented to the parliament on June 18. Membership of the government was also presented yesterday. The lawmakers will express confidence to the new government during an extraordinary session of the parliament on June 20.
