Decentralization of governance and establishment of the full-fledged local self-government is one of the main tasks of our government – Prime Minister of Georgia Mamuka Bakhtadze stated about it at the General Forum of Institutional Dialogue of the Georgian State and Local Authorities.

As the Prime Minister noted, the establishment of a democratic and legal state means building a political system based on the principles of self-governance that guarantees the fundamental rights of citizens and creates conditions that allow the citizens to make participation in solving not only the national but also to local issues.
