Mamuka Bakhtadze – Current system of students’ financing will be refined
“We are going to refine the current system of students’ financing and introduce new components, which will give more freedom to students in choosing a profession, university or educational institution,” Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister told students during the meeting at Botanic Garden in Zugdidi town of western Samegrelo region.
According to PM, free choice and competitiveness were the main components in educational reform. He said that education and economic development were tightly connected.
“The youngsters have to have access to worthy job places. This is the main criterion in assessment of the reform’s success. . . . We should integrate in global economy with realization of Georgian talent and with relevant professions. We need all professions and especially technical directions,” Bakhtadze told the youngsters.
