Mamuka Bakhtadze – More than 11 ministries are not needed for efficient rule

Georgia does not need more than 11 ministries for efficient management – Mamuka Bakhtadze, candidate for post of Prime Minister said in the parliament during the meeting with the parliamentary majority.

“The program, which I presented in the parliament, means conception of small government. If the new membership of Cabinet of Ministers is expressed confidence, we will present the draft-bill about reduction of ministries,” Bakhtadze said.

The governmental program “Freedom, Welfare, Rapid Development” was presented to the parliament on June 18. Membership of the government was also presented yesterday. The lawmakers will express confidence to the new government during an extraordinary session of the parliament on June 20.
