Main part of Tourist Infrastructure arranged at Khertvisi Fortress

The main part of tourist infrastructure has already been arranged at Khertvisi Fortress, situated in Meskheti region of southern Georgia – Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure reports.

The infrastructure project was launched by Municipal Development Fund last year with financing of World Bank with total cost of 1,7 million GEL.

Administration building and visitors centre were rehabilitated, fence was restored, pavements and parking area were arranged and water systems and toilets were reconstructed. The infrastructure is adapted to persons with limited physical capabilities.
