Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvrivishvili introduced Levan Moseshvili as the new Director General of the Georgian Airports Association to the staff.

Deputy Minister Kvrivishvili emphasized that Moseshvili brings years of experience in the civil aviation sector, including significant experience in the private industry. She believes his expertise will greatly benefit both the Georgian Airports Association and the broader civil aviation sector, particularly as large-scale infrastructure projects and structural reforms are underway.

“Levan Moseshvili is a seasoned professional in aviation, which is crucial for successfully implementing the government’s aviation development projects and establishing Georgia as a regional aviation hub,” Kvrivishvili stated.

Notably, Moseshvili has over 20 years of practical experience in aviation. He previously led the Aerodromes and Airports Department of the Civil Aviation Agency for 12 years and has held key positions at the United Transport Administration of Georgia, Tbilisi International Airport, and TAV Georgia.

The Deputy Minister also expressed gratitude to former General Director Irakli Karkashadze for his contributions, noting that he will continue his career in the aviation sector in a different role.
