Levan Izoria: Holding Georgian Ambassadors' Conference in Berlin symbolic, political statement on Georgia's foreign policy
Georgian Ambassador to Germany Levan Izoria on Thursday said holding the Conference of Georgian Ambassadors in Berlin was “symbolic and a political statement on Georgia’s foreign policy.”
“This course is unwaveringly connected with our nation’s integration into the European Union. Naturally, the diplomatic corps was made aware of the course’s irreversibility.
Hence, one of the primary tasks within this top priority is to strengthen our ties with our strategic partners and to carry out the main foreign policy message that the Prime Minister has repeatedly stated in public, which is related to the start of negotiations with the European Union. Therefore, our mobilization of the diplomatic corps is related to this top priority,” Izoria asserted.
The Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze also attends the conference.
