Lelo's Tazo Datunashvili: Amid phony meetings, prices on food products, services go higher
“The Georgian Dream of Bidzina Ivanishvili, which has impoverished the Georgian people to the extreme in 14 years, is offering the Georgian people a new show, just like in 2012,” said Tazo Datunashvili, a member of the Lelo-Strong Georgia party.
According to Tazo Datunashvili, the politically bankrupt and illegitimate party, which came to power with the “promise of free money and cheaper life,” today decided to “fight against its extremely expensive life.”
Datunashvili believes that the government stages phony meetings within the Cross-Government Coordination Commission on Food Prices and “feeds society with another promise” that prices will decrease in the near future.
“We see pseudo so-called business meetings daily, and the puppet Prime Minister meeting with representatives of different spheres. Today, he met with pharmaceutical companies, and feeds society with another promise that prices will decrease in the near future.
Meanwhile, amid these phony meetings, prices go high instead of their decrease, including on food products, transport and services. Nobody speaks about this, but I would like to focus on services such as production of ID cards or passports, fines (Tbilisi Parking), permits and registrations.
The money obtained from these state services gets directly into the ‘Dream’ black box – it is fully controlled by the state! Since 2012, the cost of services has increased by up to 200%.
It is sufficient to see the actual image of the Dream. The prices of the services, from beginning to end, are solely regulated by the government, and these tariffs depend on the goodwill of Irakli Kobakhidze!
The cost of living in Georgia has increased by 200%, and the only person responsible for this is Bidzina Ivanishvili. Bidzina makes life more expensive, and Bidzina impoverishes people to rule them. These meetings held at the Government Administration are propaganda and a sheer lie, a demonstration to people of a fake fight against prices, which are set and increased by their or affiliated-with-them companies.
The Lelo-Strong Georgia will be engaged with this issue, and we will disclose the government’s lies and all propagandist activities,” Datunashvili said.
Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze met representatives of pharmaceutical companies within the Cross-Government Coordination Commission on Food Prices.
