Lelo’s Gegelia: No agreement on anything; Society interested in vision how to defeat regime peacefully
“There is no agreement over anything,” said Grigol Gegelia, a member of the Lelo-Strong Georgia, remarking on the statement of Tengo Tevzadze, a member of the Coalition for Change, saying that eight opposition parties have unity and are in the process of agreeing on key conditions among themselves.
According to Gegelia, society is interested in neither details nor who said what.
“There is no agreement on anything. There is a process of some talks. If the agreement is reached, you will be informed. Details of talks have secondary significance. Society is not interested in who said what or what they agreed upon. Society is interested in the vision of how we are going to defeat the regime peacefully and how to create better economic and political conditions for all citizens in this country,” he said.
Tengo Tevzadze, a member of the Coalition for Change, said that eight opposition partiesformed a unity. According to him, the Gakharia for Georgia party is not considered in this unity, while agreement cannot be achieved with the Lelo if it adheres to a different strategy than the parties forming the unity.
