“The locally scheduled elections organised by Georgian Dream are not related to legitimisation. We will neither oppose the opposition nor respond to provocations,” stated Lana Galdava, a member of the Lelo party.

According to Galdava, Lelo respects the opposition’s plans and strategies.

“Lelo — Strong Georgia will participate in the municipal elections. The upcoming local elections, scheduled by the electoral calendar, are not intended for legitimisation. Instead, we see them as an additional battleground in the ongoing struggle, and we are prepared to engage in this contest. We will not oppose the opposition nor respond to provocations.

We want to emphasise that we respect the intentions and strategies of all opposition parties. At the same time, we reaffirm that we have done our best to foster unity. However, since unification efforts did not succeed, it is essential to respect differing viewpoints,” she stated.
