Lelo: Georgian party proposed recount of ISFED data to opposition
During negotiations, the ruling Georgian Dream party was proposing to the opposition to recount the PVT data of the International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy (ISFED) though it knew in advance that the data was inaccurate, Lelo Party said.
Lelo party representatives are interested how the flaw admitted by the organization became known to the government when ISFED has recently made the information public.
Lelo said that when talking about the election fraud, the opposition argued based on the conclusions of various election observer organizations and violations recorded both during the pre-election period and Election Day including intimidation, bribery, use of administrative resources and misbalance in summary protocols.
“Lelo believes that the elections were mass rigged and the results published by the Central Election Commission do not reflect the free will of the Georgian people. The government is trying to accentuate on Parallel Vote Tabulation results while none of the state institution reacted on hundreds of violations,” Lilo said in a statement.
According to the latest CEC data, Georgian Dream won 48,22% of votes. The PVT adjusted data provided by the Fair Elections yesterday, the maximum result received by the Georgian Dream made 48,3% and the minimum – 46,9%. Thus, the corrected results of the parallel counting of ISFED coincide with the final results of the CEC, taking into account the accuracy margin. It should be noted that according to the results of the parallel count published by the organization on November 1, the maximum result of the Georgian Dream was 46.5%, and the minimum – 45.1%.
