Legal Affairs Committee delegation of German Bundestag visits Georgia

Chaired by Elizabeth Winkelmeier-Becker (CDU/CSU), members of the Legal Affairs Committee in the German Bundestag are visiting Georgia.

The delegation will hold meetings with high-ranking officials in the parliament and ministries and meet with representatives of the civic society. German lawmakers will visit one of the prisons and Ukrainian House, a project for Ukrainian refugees in Tbilisi.

“The main topics of the visit are democratic transformation, rule of law, integration into the European Union, and protection of human rights in Georgia,” the German Embassy said.
