Legal Affairs Committee Chair deems OSCE last bastion yielding to Global War Party influence

“OSCE was likely one of the last bastions which yielded to the Global War Party influence as we have witnessed its attacks against Georgia,” said Archil Gorduladze, Chair of the parliamentary Legal Affairs Committee.

According to Gorduladze, the OSCE, European Parliament, or PACE resolutions have no value.

“There is no basis or legal argument for attacking Georgian society but one: that Georgia does not follow the directives and orders of the Global War Party and does not act as a proxy state. There is no external rule in our country,” he said.

For context, the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly recently adopted a critical resolution concerning Georgia, authored by US Congressman Joe Wilson. In response, the Georgian delegation refused to participate in the vote and staged a walkout in protest.
