Leader of Girchi – There is attempt on part of Ambassadors to approximate positions between government and opposition

There is attempt on part of facilitator Ambassadors to find some crossing lines and somehow approximate positions between the government and opposition – Zurab Japaridze, Leader of Girchi Party said after the meeting held at residence of U.S. Ambassador to Georgia.

Japaridze said that the meeting served as a preparation for the feasible third round of talks between representatives of the ruling party and opposition.

“I do not know what will come out of the meeting. I am neither optimistic nor pessimistic. I cannot speak about technical details or say anything that may be later used by the opposition as the reason to disrupt these negotiations,” Japaridze said.
