Edgars Rinkēvičs, Foreign Minister of Latvia described signing the compromise agreement by the Georgian political parties as “encouraging news.”
“Encouraging news on the signing of the agreement between political forces in Georgia paving the way out of the prolonged crisis. Latvia reaffirms its support for democratic & rule of law based Georgia that continues reform process & European integration. Political dialogue is key,” Latvian FM tweeted.
The Georgian political parties signed A way ahead for Georgia, a compromise document submitted to the parties by the European Council President Charles Michel, at the Orbeliani Palace on April 19.
