Speaker of the Knesset (Parliament) of Israel, Amir Ohana, has arrived in Georgia.
Givi Mikanadze, the chair of the Education and Science Committee and the head of the Georgia-Israel Parliamentary Friendship Group, welcomed the guest at Tbilisi International Airport.
On September 4, Amir Ohana will meet with representatives of Georgia’s legislative and executive authorities, including Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili, Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili, and Supreme Court Chair Nino Kadagidze.
Furthermore, on September 5, during the plenary, Georgian lawmakers will welcome Speaker Amir Ohana and his delegation.
As part of his visit, Ohana will pay his respects by laying a wreath at the memorial honoring those who died for Georgia’s territorial integrity. He will also visit the Davit Baazov Museum of the History of Jews of Georgia.
