Ketevan Tsikhelashvili: There are constant attempts from occupation regime to tighten and complicate movement amid increased contacts
There are constant attempts to tighten and complicate movement amid increased contacts, – Ketevan Tsikhelashvili, State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality, said when commenting on the decision of the occupation regime to tighten the rules of crossing the so-called border.
“Unfortunately, it is not a novelty, there are constant attempts to tighten and complicate movement amid the increased contacts. This restriction creates additional problems for the population of Tskhinvali region. Particularly it affects the people, especially ethnic Ossetians, who do not live adjacent to the occupation line, but in the depths of the Tskhinvali region, for whom the movement is of vital importance. They try to find different ways. They still arrive in the rest territory of Georgia through Russia. The additional measure during the New Year period is an announcement that the regime works directly against the interests of everyone, including of Ossetians”, – said Ketevan Tsikhelashvili.
As Minister noted, it is the basis to conclude that we should confront it with more contacts and development.
