Keeping terms of video records made in pre-detention cells to be increased

Keeping terms of video records made in pre-detention cell will be increased from 24 to 120 hours – The pre-detention isolators’ development plan was presented by Natia Mezvrishvili, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs with support of UN High Commissioner Office.

Based on the plan, infrastructure will be developed and video surveillance system and electronic base will be improved. Repairs works are launched at isolators in regions. A reconstructed isolator will be opened in Akhalkalaki town at the end of February.
