Justin McKenzie Smith – Elections are being held in peaceful environment
The second round of presidential elections is being held in a very peaceful environment – British Ambassador to Georgia Justin McKenzie Smith said in Marneuli town of Kvemo Kartli region of Georgia.
Ambassadors of Great Britain, the US and Netherlands are observing the election process in Marneuli. “It is important that the country unites around national interests after completion of the election campaign,” British Ambassador said.
The second round of 2018 presidential elections is being held in Georgia today. The Presidential elections are held in 73 election precincts. There are 3637 polling stations and 11 special stations opened throughout Georgia. The 55 polling stations are opened abroad.
