Johannes Hann – European Union fully supports reforms carried out by Georgian government

Mamuka Bakhtadze, Georgian Prime Minister being on a working visit in Brussels, Belgium, met with Johannes Hann, European Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy & Enlargement Negotiations.

Georgia’s European integration, Eastern Partnership format and visa liberalization related issues were discussed during the meeting. Georgian PM introduced the European Commissioner with governmental plan of reforms that is in full compliance with the working agenda of association with EU.

Johannes Hann underlined that European Union fully supported reforms carried out by Georgian government. He also reiterated strong support to Georgia’s territorial integrity and state sovereignty.

Natalia Sabanadze, Ambassador/Head of Georgian Mission to the EU and Ambassador of Georgia to Belgium and Luxembourg and Foreign Minister Davit Zalkaliani also attended the meeting. Georgian PM met with Jens Stoltenberg, Secretary General of NATO and Donald Tusk, President of European Council within the framework of his visit to Brussels.
