NATO will once again express support to Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty – Jens Stoltenberg, Secretary-General of NATO said before the opening of NATO Foreign Ministerial in Brussels, Belgium.
The meeting with Davit Zalkaliani, Georgian Foreign Minister is planned within the framework of NATO-Georgia-Ukraine Commission joint sitting. Talks will be focused around the challenges in the Black Sea region and the situation across Georgia’s occupied regions.
NATO Foreign Ministerial will be held on December 4-5. The main issues on the agenda include the situation around the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF). Foreign ministers are also due to discuss Operation Resolute Support in Afghanistan, in which about 16,000 personnel from 39 NATO member states and partner countries are involved in training and assisting Afghan forces.
