Jens Stoltenberg: NATO will continue to support Georgia, Alliance's door is open for new members
NATO supports the integration of aspirant countries, including Georgia, into the Euro-Atlantic space, – NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg delivered a speech at the NATO PA Plenary session in Warsaw.
According to Jens Stoltenberg, the Alliance’s open door policy will be one of the key issues to be discussed at the NATO summit in Brussels in July.
“NATO will continue to provide practical support to Georgia. Open door policy will be one of the key issues to be discussed at the NATO summit in Brussels in July. Last year, we proved that the alliance’s doors were open for new members when Montenegro became the 29th member of NATO. We support other aspirant countries’ Euro-Atlantic integration, “- said Jens Stoltenberg.
