January to be a busy month, Georgian Ambassador in NATO claims

“January will be a busy month. Georgia and Ukraine will hold meetings with NATO partners in a coordinated regime to gain more support. We sit in one boat,” said Victor Dolidze Georgian Ambassador in NATO in an interview with the Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB).

According to Dolidze, NATO Foreign Ministers clearly stated during the January 7 meeting that the international norms, which Russia signed but was not fulfilling, would not be reconsidered.

“US Secretary of State and NATO Secretary-General reiterated that NATO did not intrude in Georgia or Ukraine, unlike Russia. Russia violated international law principles and it has to be held responsible,” Dolidze said.

Georgian NATO Ambassador claimed that he could hardly hope on Russia’s rejecting its aggressive policy. However, Georgia will continue consultations with high-ranking representatives in Brussels and elsewhere.
