“NATO is not a threat neither to Russia, nor to any European country,” – said US Ambassador to Georgia Jan Kelly.

Ambassador said that NATO has an open door policy; it is open to those countries that have met all the requirements.

NATO is not a threat neither to Russia, nor to any European country.  I think decisions should not be taken by what Russia will do or not. NATO has an open door policy; it is open to those countries that have met all the requirements. NATO Secretary General has already noted that Georgia has all the necessary tools to become a member of NATO. I think decisions should be taken based on facts”, – Jan Kelly said.
