Jailed ex-president: Georgia needs its own Trump

“Georgia needs its own Trump, and we will manage to dismantle the criminal syndicate of bank owners,” wrote jailed ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili on Facebook.

According to Saakashvili, he is the captive of not only Moscow and Ivanishvili but of “Rukhadze, Chkhartishvilis, Gilauris and other subjects.”

“Donald Trump has capped American banks’ profits on credit cards at 10%. Georgia is ruled by a robber banker, who is increasingly taking over banks and making profits at the expense of the people. Georgia needs its own Trump, and we will manage to dismantle the criminal syndicate of bank owners. That is why these criminals fear me. I am the captive of not only Moscow and Ivanishvili but also of Rukhadze, Chkhartishvilis, Gilauris and other subjects of the syndicate,” he said.
