It is important to express good heartedness and solidarity toward all people, who are our guests,” Irakli Kobakhidze, Chairman of Parliament said before the friendly football match being held in response to April 8 incident at Beliashvili Street.

A friendly football match among participants of April 8 incident at Beliashvili Street in Tbilisi – Georgian citizens and foreign students studying in Tbilisi – is being held at the initiative of Kakha Kaladze, Tbilisi Mayor. The match at Beliashvili Street Stadium began at 18:00.

Kakha Kaladze, Tbilisi Mayor, Levan Kobiashvili, President of Football President and Irakli Kobakhidze, Chairman of Parliament are taking part in the match.

A video was released in the social network on April 8 which shows a conflict between Georgian citizens and foreigners. Investigation into the incident is opened.
